Ballooning Sunday AM (4:45 am meet time at Richmond Building, Queen's Road) Phone-in is on Saturday PM - Expect contact on Saturday 7-10pm. If you sign up after this time, we cannot guarantee your place on the flight. If you do not answer your phone when called/messaged, we may have to remove your flight booking - we give you safety information over the phone. You understand that ballooning is a team sport and you may be required to crew/retrieve. We operate a crewing points system to reward people who volunteer to help chase the balloon. Please wear sturdy footwear - we will be in the countryside, walking boots or old trainers will be acceptable. Sandals, flip flops, heels are not permitted. If you fly in the balloon, the £45 flight fee is paid after the flight by scanning a QR code and completing payment through our SU online page.   Please make sure you give the correct number when signing up - we communicate with you exclusively by phone. This must be a UK number or be on WhatsApp. You must be a fully paid BUHABS member to register for a flight, and we may ask for ID. You need to be 18 years or over to fly with BUHABS.  Please only sign up yourself - we cannot guarantee to fly groups together. We may delete your registration if you sign multiple people up. Please do not stay up all night drinking. You will not be able to fly in the balloon if we suspect you are drunk or hungover.
